Andrew Lawler is an Architect with experience spanning all phases of project delivery, from schematic design through construction administration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba and completed his architectural internship while living in Squamish, British Columbia, where he contributed to commercial, and multi-family residential projects. With additional experience in high-end single-family homes, medium-rise residential developments, and commercial renovations, Andrew brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to architectural design, grounded in both technical understanding and a strong appreciation for the built environment.

Recently earning his accreditation with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia before returning to Winnipeg, Andrew combines diverse project experience with a perspective shaped by his background in philosophy and his time working on Canada's west coast. His interests extend beyond architecture into the outdoors, where he is an accomplished trail runner with a background in competitive athletics. Whether exploring challenging terrain or considering how people experience a space, Andrew appreciates environments that offer a sense of discovery, connection, and possibility.

Built for the Long Run

Andrew's athletic background is anything but ordinary. A former member of the University of Manitoba's varsity track and cross-country team, he also earned a medal at the junior world cup in speed skating. These days, he channels that competitive spirit into trail running and ultra-distance races.

A Quiet Kind of Adventure

Andrew's dream home would sit beside a river, surrounded by nature, with peaceful spaces and a unique experience waiting in every room. It's a vision that reflects his appreciation for thoughtful design, natural surroundings, and places that invite exploration.

The Perfect Winnipeg Evening

Ask Andrew where to take a visitor in Winnipeg and he'll suggest a memorable evening: dinner at Petit Socco, a drink at The Commons, and, if you're feeling adventurous, a relaxing dip in the Red River. Just remember to save the conversation for before or after the movie. Andrew's a fan of Lost in Translation and prefers to enjoy films in silence.
