Outside work, Dylan is deeply passionate about programming and storytelling. The Limit Does Not Exist

Dylan draws inspiration from game programmer Tarn Adams, whose approach to immersive storytelling and open-ended world building has had a major influence on his own creative interests. He is fascinated by the idea of creating environments and experiences that evolve naturally over time.

Facing the Fear

Despite being afraid of heights, Dylan actively challenges himself to face that fear head-on. From climbing the stairs at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights to walking across the Capilano Suspension Bridge, for him, growth comes from stepping outside of his comfort zone and proving to himself that fear doesn’t get the final say.

World Builder

When he’s not at work, Dylan spends much of his free time programming and developing a game he has been building for the past seven years. Inspired by immersive storytelling and expansive virtual worlds, he is fascinated by the way technology and creativity can work together to pull people into entirely new experiences.
