Noa holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Interior Design from the University of Manitoba, where she consistently earned recognition on the Dean’s Honour Roll. In the 2025 Steelcase Office Design Competition, she was a Top 5 Finalist selected from over 1,600 submissions and presented her work to a panel of leading North American designers—an experience that reflects both her creative confidence and ability to communicate design ideas at a high level.

Noa volunteers her skills to community-focused work, contributing graphic design and conceptual interior layouts toward an inclusive, all-ages living environment. Known for her dry sense of humour and grounded outlook, she’s guided by the idea: “In five years, this will make for a good story.” Her creative perspective is shaped by a love of art and meaningful objects—like a painting gifted by a family member that reflects her fondness for turtles and tortoises—as well as her travels, where she gravitates toward unique finds, including a patterned sweater discovered in Paros, Greece, influences that carry into her design work.

Frequent Flyer, Fresh Perspective

For Noa, travel isn’t just a getaway—it’s a creative reset. Whether navigating a new city or soaking in unfamiliar spaces, she’s always gathering inspiration that broadens her understanding of design beyond the expected.

Design Runs in the Family

As a third-generation interior designer, Noa is continuing a legacy shaped by the trailblazing work of her mother and grandmother. It’s a lineage that informs her perspective, while she carves out a path uniquely her own.

Whisking Up Plan B

If she hadn’t pursued interior design, Noa could easily see herself in culinary school. The same creativity and precision she brings to interiors would likely translate seamlessly to the kitchen—just with a few more taste tests along the way.
