Elkin is a creative and ambitious, detail-oriented graphic designer with a penchant for creating powerful visual narratives built on timeless design principles. He thrives in working with multidisciplinary teams where his innovative ideas and big-picture thinking support the delivery of compelling outcomes.

Elkin holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising, a certificate in Design and Visual Arts from UNITEC University in Bogotá, Colombia, and a postgraduate diploma in Business Management from the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT). He is a lifelong learner who doesn't shy away from new design technologies; instead, he leverages them to enhance his creativity.

Family man

From giving his mother his first paycheque to raising two incredible children, Elkin has always put family first. For him, his greatest accomplishment has been being a good father, which is apparent in all he does. Two out of three of his bucket list items are dedicated to his children: he would love to see his daughter crowned as a world champion salsa dancer, and to see his son succeed in what he loves professionally.

He's got the rhythm

Outside of design, Elkin’s passion lies in Latin music (salsa in particular). Growing up in Colombia, he was surrounded by music and dance. It is his outlet to connect with his culture, express himself, and stay grounded.

Fútbol!

While he’s cool, calm, and collected around the office, Elkin’s guilty pleasure is shouting and cheering during fútbol (soccer) games, especially if he’s cheering for his favourite team, Millonarios de Bogotá with his family.
