About the Position

We’re growing and looking for an Architect to join the #PeopleOfRepublic. As a member of the architectural team, the Architect will be responsible for the development of enclosure retrofits for existing buildings, fit-ups, upgrades, and new construction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with like-minded architects, interior designers, and technologists;
• Author written recommendations for remedial work, and/or assemblies for retrofit and new work;
• Prepare technical drawings for owner review and costing, tender and construction;
• Collaborate alongside a broad, multidisciplinary consultant team, and our client groups; and
• Balance a desire for design excellence, sustainability and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of experience in Canadian architectural practice;
• Experience with BIM software, specifically Autodesk Revit is an asset;
• Exemplary technical design and problem solving skills;
• Broad experience with detailing and preparation of construction documents for a variety of types
• of building envelope projects, both new construction and renovations/retrofits; and
• A proven track record of maintaining high quality standards while meeting project milestones.
• Fluency in the French language an asset.
