Developed for the Morris School Autobody and Welding Shop Addition, the LEED Educational Signage project aimed to educate the facility's users and guests on the various sustainability features of the building. Republic Architecture Inc. worked with State Industries to produce these etched, stainless-steel signs, which were located strategically around the school in areas where a sustainable feature is found.
Aiming to be a LEED Certified project, the Morris School Autobody and Welding Shop Addition included many sustainability features. As an added service, our team designed five infographic signs that included information on the facility's features. These sustainable elements include the use of natural lighting, in-floor heating, the use of local materials, landscaping techniques, energy efficiency efforts, low-flow plumbing, and a solar wall.
