Great People, Great Projects — and Surpassing 100

We’ve officially hit the one-third mark on our time-travelling journey—and Year Five was, in a word: humming (in the best way).

This was the year we crossed a big milestone: our 100th project. More than a number, it represented the breadth and variety of work we were being trusted to deliver. Our project portfolio expanded—each one a new opportunity to explore how thoughtful, people-first design can shape the communities we serve.

To support that momentum, we welcomed new faces—each bringing their own expertise, curiosity, and energy. One of them was Hayley Rehberg, who, just a few months into her role, learned she’d be joining us on our fifth annual retreat—to New York City. It was unexpected, exciting, and one of the moments that defined Republic’s culture: inclusive, curious, adventurous, and rooted in great people. Ten years later, Hayley’s still here—an integral part of our story.

And speaking of people: many of the sub-consultants and clients we first collaborated with in Year Five are still with us today. A decade and hundreds of projects later, we remain grounded in the same belief: great things happen when you get the right people around the table.

By the end of Year Five, our project tally had hit 142—but it was never just about numbers. It was about trust. Growth. Momentum. And as the studio buzzed with new ideas and opportunities, we had a feeling: the best was still ahead.
