Supporting HTEC’s Sustainable Vision

Republic is proud to stand alongside Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corp. (HTEC) in their pioneering efforts toward a sustainable future. As HTEC embarks on its latest venture—a significant acquisition of a 21-acre industrial site on North Vancouver’s waterfront for $145 million—Republic is honoured to provide architectural support for this landmark project.

The focal point of this collaboration is the development of a state-of-the-art clean hydrogen plant at 100 Forester Street. This facility will play a crucial role in capturing, purifying, and processing hydrogen by-products, meeting the increasing demand for eco-friendly transportation fuels.

Through this investment, HTEC aims to establish up to 20 strategically located hydrogen refuelling stations to support fuel cell vehicles. Additionally, new electrolyzers in Burnaby, Nanaimo, and Prince George, alongside a liquefaction facility in North Vancouver, will strengthen HTEC’s supply chain and enhance operational capabilities.

“Our role in supporting HTEC underscores our commitment to advancing sustainable design solutions,” notes Republic Project Manager, Pam Zyla. “We’re excited to contribute our expertise to such a groundbreaking initiative.”

Republic applauds HTEC’s visionary approach and look forward to providing support as they lead the charge towards a more sustainable tomorrow—one project at a time.

Stay tuned as HTEC leads the charge towards a more sustainable tomorrow—one project at a time.
