A fascination with woodworking and carpentry led Dylan to a career as a lather. He spent a decade building his skillset, reading blueprints, working on construction and installation projects, and devising acoustic treatments. Trained on numerous machine systems and experienced with safe work practices, Dylan is conscientious and thorough in each project he takes on.

Dylan graduated from Red River College as a Red Seal Journeyman Lather (Interior Systems Mechanic). His experience has provided Dylan with an extensive base of knowledge that he brings to his work in conducting building condition assessments and developing reports.

THE ACORN DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE OAK

Dylan’s grandfather inspired his love of building. “My grandfather is one of the hardest workers I know,” says Dylan. That explains Dylan’s passion for woodworking and Craftsman design!

SNOW BIG DEAL

Growing up in a small town, young Dylan found creative ways to entertain himself. Shoveling snow was a favourite pastime; when he was six, Dylan asked for a shovel for Christmas.

HIGH STEAKS

Whether grilling or smoking, Dylan is known for his barbecue skills. He grows his own veggies, too, but don’t ask him to eat cabbage rolls—they’re on Dylan’s “not with a 10-foot pole” list.
